Each guest receives a one-of-a-kind experience, where they may watch their image appear right before their eyes. and an heirloom portrait that lasts forever.

To book a pop-up or event, we will need to know:

Please keep in mind:

Rudy will need access to a nearby water source, an area of at least 10' x 15' for his mobile darkroom and posing area, and two electric outlets if shooting indoors or after dusk.

Access for 2 hours to set up, 1.5 hours to takedown

Making a tintype takes about 15-20 minutes. Depending on the nature of the event, we can offer a public or private online booking page for guests to book slots ahead of time, or make portraits on a walk-in basis or whatever is best for your event.

Tintype portraits must return to our Louisville studio to be varnished and scanned. That way they will last forever! Participants may opt to have their plates mailed or pick them up at the Louisville studio when they are ready. Typically this is within a few days after the event.​​
